informed animal health section of Shimane that 5 fowls died
animal health section of Shimane detected H5 by simple-test
this section requested restriction on movement of fowls
5 dead fowls transferred to animal disease laboratory of Shimane
at 20:30, there was strong suspicion that this case is H5N1 by PCR
at 22:00, Shimane prefecture held press conference
Shimane prefecture concluded that this case is H5
