16 Dec, zoo staff found 2 dead mute swans(1 adult/ 1 young) at 08:15 AM
animal disease laboratory of Toyama-west detected H5 from young swan by simple-test at 11:00 AM
dead swans transferred to animal disease laboratory of Toyama-east at 12:10 PM
for additional references, the laboratory examined live swan' specimens by PCR
but it undecidable, because the virus were not enough
Takaoka city disinfected Zoo
17 Dec, PCR running, Zoo closed, Takaoka city disinfected Zoo
Takakazu Ishii, Governor of Toyama prefecture conducted an on-site inspection of hygiene management
the result will be announced tomorrow
